Charities for 2017

This year we continue to support Dove Cottage Hospice, Ratcliffe College Spring Fair (Air Ambulance and Cafod), Parachute Regiment Association (for ex servicemen and their families) , Army Benevolent Fund and Child line.

Mark and Stuart completed the Paras10 Challenge - carrying back packs of 35 lb, they completed the 10 mile cross country course in 2 and a half hours, raising money for SUPPORT OUR PARAS is a charity which supports The Parachute Regiment through the welfare of serving soldiers and families and those affected by recent operations, and through the maintenance of its regimental efficiency, ethos, spirit and heritage.

We continue to support Childline.

We helped Ratcliffe College raise funds at their Spring Fair for Alex's Wish and Tilananu Orphanage.

We continue to support Dove Cottage Day Hospice. We love attending the quiz nights and providing delicious pork cobs to help nourish those brains!

 

Charities for 2015

We support Child Line.

Our boys have entered the Paras 10 challenge. Raising money for the Airborne Forces Benevolent Fund.

We provided the hog roast for the Dove Hospice quiz night at Hose in February. And we are there again in October. Thanks to our friends at Bakkavor desserts for providing the cakes free of charge for these events.

We supported Ratcliffe College' Spring Fair fundraising for charities, The Carpenters Arms & Falcon Centre, by providing our sausages and hog roast.

The Dowager Duchess of Rutland has once again booked us for her Open Gardens event in June. 

 

Charities for 2014

This year we are helping raise funds for Dove Hospice again. Starting with an event in Hose in February.

We continue to support other charities, including Childline.

 

Charities for 2013

For many years we have supported the Dowager Duchess of Rutland in her charitable Open day.

This year monies raised will go to DOVE HOSPICE, Stathern.

Our hog roasts at Ratcliffe College Spring fair have raised money for two charities;

STEPS

A Shepshed based charity that provides specialist nursery services and support to children with motor disorders

and

KWALUKONGE

Health service in Tanzania. They are currently trying to build and buy equipment for an Operating Theatre to provide urgent medical care to 16,000 people in the community.
